I had a Focus that ate through motor/trans mounts. It was silver and vibrated heavily when at idle. It was known among my friends as the silver bullet. This video is also somewhat relevant.

I feel you on the horrible motor mounts. I had a zx3 that did the same. . . Mine was called the Black Rocket. . . I had way more fun than I should have in that car and humilliated way faster cars with incompetent drivers. There is nothing better than screaming at full lock at full throttle in second gear at about 50 on an on ramp. . . Well there are fuck tons of things better, but not in a focus.

Did you ever have a clutch master go?

Sadly it was an auto. My cousin did however have a manual zx3 that we hooned plenty. Maybe too much.
